“Natural, biodegradable and a low environmental impact”
Silk is a natural filament fiber produced by the silkworm in the construction of its cocoon. Most silk is collected from cultivated caterpillars and comes from Asia. Silk is regarded as one of the most expensive fabrics in the world, because of the work that goes in to making this luscious fabric. We are currently working with establishing a production based on a silk with elastic for a longer lasting and higher qualitative product.
Chiffon is an extremely sheer, lightweight and soft fabric. It is made of highly twisted filament yarns. Chiffon is most commonly used in evening wear for giving an elegant and floating appearance to the gown. It is also a popular fabric used in blouses, ribbons, scarves and lingerie. Chiffon can be made from natural or synthetic fibers. Our main production of chiffon is a silk-based. In some cases, we use polyester or cellulose-based materials. Silk chiffon being considered a premium option because of its shimmer and smooth texture, and its strength despite being very lightweight.
