How did the preparations for the wedding look like?
We stayed overnight at the villa with our families the night before the wedding. In the morning, our bridal party checked in, and we had breakfast together before we started getting ready.

Tell us about the choice of your wedding dress!
I tried on many models from different designers, but I immediately felt that I had found the right one when I tried on Elize. It felt classic, elegant, and very 'me'! Since I had tried on some models before, I knew what I liked, so I could draw inspiration from other dresses I had tried on when I took my dress to the tailor.

Where did you get married and why did you choose this location?
We had our ceremony at Låssa Church and then had a reception, dinner, party, and overnight stay at Villa Aske. We like that the villa feels personal and not too big. We also wanted all the guests to be able to stay overnight, and we wanted the wedding to be in the Stockholm area so that all our close friends and family could be part of our big day.

Did you have a special wedding theme or dress code for the guests?
We had a black-tie dress code. Everyone looked so elegant!

How did you choose dresses for your bridesmaides?
We wanted to find a style and color that everyone felt comfortable in. I think both the color and the style of the dresses turned out fantastic on all my lovely bridesmaids.

Do you have a moment that was extra meaningful too you?
The very best memory I have from our wedding was all the wonderful speeches during the dinner. Particularly special was my husband's speech to me, it was absolutely amazing! Also, particularly meaningful for me was having my older brother as one of my bridesmaids. He is one of the most important people in my life, and it felt so special to have him by my side on my big day.

What is your favorite detail with your wedding dress?
The open back and the adorned buttons along the entire skirt and train. I love it!

Could you share a fun detail from your wedding?
What we put the most time into for our wedding was a booklet with a brief description of each guest placed at their seats during the dinner. It included a short introduction about who the guest is, why they mean so much to us, and a fun detail that might be amusing for their tablemates to know. It was incredibly appreciated and something I highly recommend!

Did you have another celebration the day before or after the wedding? If yes, what did you wear?
The day before our wedding, we had a dinner at the villa with our families. It was really special to gather everyone and have the most important people in our lives together. After the wedding, all the guests stayed overnight, and we had a brunch together the next day. For the brunch, I wore the Maeve dress from Malina. I found it at the same time as my wedding dress and felt that it was perfect for the day after!

What advice or tips do you have to other couples planning their wedding?
Start early and have fun! We had a blast planning our wedding. Both of us love organizing events and made sure to enjoy the process, often with a glass of wine in hand. Whenever we felt stuck on something, we'd take a break and come back to it when we felt inspired again.
